In the mid 1970s, I was in Cardiff College of Art studying two-dimensional design. I used to go out into the surrounding countryside and take two dimensional images of things I thought were interesting. Trees are always interesting, and this photograph captures just how interesting they can be collectively, without them knowing anything about it.
Photographs from the Yesterday series are produced from 35mm black and white negatives or 35mm colour transparencies taken between 40 and 50 years ago by graphic designer and artist, David Hopkins.
