Quite a lot of the summer of 1974 was grey and miserable, which is not ideal but neither entirely unexpected. This is one image from a small series taken during a two week stay in this perfect place in Cornwall. This particular photograph captures just one boat of many that were tied up in the harbour with, apparently, nowhere to go.

Photographs from the Yesterday series are produced from 35mm black and white negatives or 35mm colour transparencies taken between 40 and 50 years ago by graphic designer and artist, David Hopkins.

This photograph is a high-quality black and white photoprint on 265gsm gloss and is supplied with a card window mount. Prints and mounts are available for A4 (297mm x 210mm) or 12inch x 16inch frames. Prices for bespoke size prints can be provided on request.

In and around St Ives harbour. Black and white photograph.
